Todd Smith

Chief Information Officer at City of Rexburg

Todd Smith has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Todd started their career as a Computer Support Technician at Ricks College in 1990 and worked there until 2003. Todd then joined BYU-Idaho in 1996 as a Server Manager, where they worked until 2003. At BYU-Idaho, they held various roles including IT Project Manager, IT Solution Architect, and Director of IT Infrastructure from 2006 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Chief Information Officer at the City of Rexburg.

Todd Smith has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they obtained in 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in IT Management from Western Governors University in 2008-2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in March 2012, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in July 2011, and CCDP certification from Cisco in May 2009.
