Daniel Emmett Hart

Daniel Emmett Hart is the Associate Director of Sustainability and Environmental Justice at the University of Richmond, where responsibilities include leading the integration of sustainability and environmental justice into academics and community initiatives. Hart also serves as an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Richmond and the University of Cincinnati, teaching courses related to social change and sustainability. Additional roles include Chair of the City of Richmond’s Sustainability and Resilience Commission and past Vice Chair of the Cincinnati Permaculture Institute. Hart has a Master's in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by several certificates in related fields.
