Suzette Denslow

Suzette Denslow is an experienced public servant currently serving as the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of Richmond, Virginia, since September 2023. Denslow has held various significant positions, including Consultant at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia since June 2022, and Clerk at the Virginia House of Delegates from January 2020 to January 2022. Denslow previously worked as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Governor from January 2014 to January 2020, and as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Mayor in Richmond from January 2009 to January 2014. Earlier roles include Legislative Director and Deputy Director of Policy for the Office of the Virginia Governor, Executive Director at the Tennessee Municipal League, and multiple positions at the Virginia Municipal League. Denslow holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
