Umesh Dalal

Umesh Dalal has extensive experience in auditing and internal controls across multiple city governments. Currently serving as City Auditor for the City of Denton since February 2018, Umesh focuses on enhancing accountability and transparency within the city government. Prior to this, Umesh held the position of City Auditor and Inspector General for the City of Richmond, managing both offices and overseeing audits of various city agencies while conducting investigations to prevent fraud and abuse. Umesh's background also includes directing internal audits at the City of Arlington and serving as City Auditor for the City of Tempe. Umesh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Physics from Bomay University.
