Kitz (Chris) Marquez is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in civil engineering and construction inspection. Currently serving as an Engineering Inspector 2 for the City of Richmond since May 2018, Kitz is responsible for ensuring compliance with city standards through the inspection of various civil works projects, including underground utilities and roadworks. Previous roles include Construction Inspector at Maven Consulting Limited, Field Materials Technician at H. Manalo Consulting Ltd., and Municipal Designer at WSP | MMM Group. Kitz's career spans multiple positions in construction administration, quality control, environmental assessment, and project coordination, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines and additional education in civil engineering technology from the Technological University of the Philippines and the IEEQ Program at the University of Manitoba.
