Schroeder Scott has significant experience in community coordination and facility operations, currently serving as Area Coordinator for Thompson Community Centre with the City of Richmond since September 1989. Responsibilities include managing facility operations, budget, capital projects, and community liaison. Previous roles include Coordinator Arena Services, managing operations for two arena facilities and a $9.2 million budget; Diversity Services Coordinator, focusing on cultural diversity and accessibility; Community Facilities Coordinator, specializing in outreach and special event planning; and Relay For Life Coordinator for the Canadian Cancer Society, where $450,000 was raised over three events. Early career positions include Youth Services Coordinator with the City of Surrey, Facility Manager at Arbutus Village Recreation Centre, and Childcare Supervisor at YMCA of Greater Vancouver. Education includes a Human Kinetics degree from The University of British Columbia and a Recreation Facilities Management Diploma from Langara College.
