Tamara Walker

Tamara Walker currently serves as the Deputy Director of Community Services in the Employment and Training Department for the City of Richmond, a position held since January 2022. Simultaneously, Tamara has been a Program Analyst for the City of Oakland and the City of Oakland Workforce Development Board since December 2013, focusing on designing and managing contracts with service providers, ensuring compliance, and overseeing Workforce Development programs. Additionally, Tamara has been the Development Director for the Richmond Police Activities League since January 1995, where responsibilities include collaborating with board members and major contributors to enhance marketing materials and develop funding proposals for various philanthropic and governmental entities.
