Connie Peterson has been with the City of Rio Rancho since July 2005, starting as a Recreation Leader and moving up to Administrative Division Manager and eventually becoming the Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services. In addition to their time at Rio Rancho, Connie also served as the General Manager at New Mexico Sports from 1993 to 2005. Connie holds a Master of Arts in Parks & Recreation Administration from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources from Arizona State University.
