Scooter Gierisch

Carl Gierisch has served as Mayor of the City of Roanoke, Texas, since 2005, after previously holding the position of City Council Member. In addition to the mayoral role, Gierisch is the President of the Texas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, which has contributed over $8 million to local charities. Leadership roles include serving as Deacon and Worship Leader at North Texas Church of Christ and previously at Alliance Church of Christ. Gierisch has also held several positions within the community, including President of Roanoke Lions Club and Chairman of Northwest Communities Partnership. Professionally, Gierisch has been the General Manager and Partner at NAPA Auto Parts since 1980. Educational background includes graduating from Northwest High School in 1984.
