Josh Guard

Josh Guard possesses extensive experience in emergency services and firefighting, serving as a Captain for the City of Rochester, MN, since June 2011, with expertise in various rescue operations and emergency response protocols. Additionally, Josh has been a CISM Peer Team Member at SE MN EMS since March 2020, focusing on mental health support for responders. Involved with MN-TF1 as a Medical Specialist since September 2012, Josh also trains future firefighters as a Fire Instructor at Riverland Community College and serves as a Firefighter at Nadeau Township Fire Department since April 2004. Prior experience includes roles such as Independent Consultant at Advocare, Paramedic at Mayo Clinic Medical Transport, and Industrial Fire Fighter. Josh holds an Associate of Science in Fire Science/Firefighting from Penn Foster and a degree in Paramedicine from MGH School of EMT.
