Tony Campbell has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Tony began their career as a Network Administrator for Austin Public Schools in 2003, where they implemented processes to improve technician response times and developed a device life cycle strategy. Tony also created a custom IT support ticketing system using free software. In 2006, Tony became an Adjunct Faculty member at Riverland Community College. Tony then transitioned to become the Network Supervisor for Information Security, Information Assurance, and Virtualized Server Infrastructure at Austin Public Schools in 2008. During their time there, they focused on renovating the school district with a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) approach. In 2016, Tony joined the City of Rochester, MN as an Enterprise IT Security Specialist and later became the IT Manager. Currently, they serve as the Director of IT & Cybersecurity.
