Deana Keever

Deana Keever, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of work experience, with their most recent role being the Human Resources Director at the City of Rock Hill, SC since July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Operations at the York County Natural Gas Authority, managing various departments and representing the authority within the natural gas industry. From 2011 to 2016, Deana worked at Piedmont Natural Gas as the Compliance Programs Manager & Distribution Integrity Program Manager, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing public awareness programs. Before that, they were the Operations Manager and Human Resources Manager at Piedmont Natural Gas, where they oversaw service and distribution operations, managed budgets, and acted as a business partner for multiple work locations. Deana began their career at Solectron, a provider of electronics manufacturing services, where they trained and advised management on human resources and employee relations issues.

Deana Keever, SHRM-SCP, obtained their MBA in Business/Marketing from Winthrop University, which they attended from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in July 2019.
