Carrie Hagerty has a solid work experience history in governmental finance. Carrie most recently served as the Finance Director for the City of Rockford, Illinois, starting in October 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Central Services Manager for the same city from August 2006 to October 2016. Carrie also worked as a Financial Analyst for the City of Rockford from March 2003 to August 2006. Additionally, Carrie had an earlier role as an Administrative Intern for the Village of Roselle from 2001 to 2003.
Carrie Hagerty's education history includes a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from Northern Illinois University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the same university between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, Carrie has received certifications to enhance their professional skills. Carrie obtained the Certified Public Finance Officer certification from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) in July 2023.
