Elliott Pickett

Elliott Pickett is an Associate Planner in the Department of Development Services for the City of Rohnert Park since May 2023, focusing on current and long-range planning. Prior to this role, Elliott served as an Associate Planner and Assistant Planner at 4LEAF, Inc., working on Housing and Safety Element updates for various jurisdictions across California from March 2021 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Sonoma County Transportation Authority, where Elliott developed outreach surveys for the Sonoma Climate Mobilization Strategy, and a summer internship at the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, contributing to a Fire Hazard Technical Advisory Document. Elliott also interned at the SSU Center for Sustainable Communities, researching land use tools for wildfire management. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment, and Planning from Sonoma State University, earned in 2021.
