James Michael Hebert Jr., MCP, CCEA, has extensive experience in building inspection and code enforcement, currently serving as the Assistant Building Official for the City of Rome, Georgia since November 2019. Prior to this role, James held positions including Chief Building Official for Ascension Parish Government and Owner of E.P.I.C. Consultants and Inspections LLC. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Building Official and Electrical Inspector with Ascension Parish Government and the City/Parish of Baton Rouge. James' career in building inspection began as a Building Inspector for the City of Rome Georgia. James completed education at Coosa Valley Technical College from 2001 to 2003.
