Neil Sjostrom

Neil Sjostrom currently serves as the Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Roseville, MN, overseeing department operations that include EMS, suppression, education, community outreach, and fire prevention, while also fulfilling the role of Fire Marshal and Department Therapy Comfort K9 Coordinator/Handler. Prior to this, Neil held the position of President at Roseville Fire Fighters I.A.F.F. Local 5051, where responsibilities included providing leadership and managing local union operations and developing the annual budget. Additionally, Neil worked as an Apparatus Specialist at Rosenbauer America, collaborating with distributors and customers to support the sales process for fire apparatus. Neil earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Metro State University between 2004 and 2010.
