Debra Peck Lichtenberg

Debra Peck Lichtenberg, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Debra is currently serving as the Director of Finance for the City of Royal Oak, MI, where they are responsible for managing a budget of over $200 million. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance and Operations for the City of Grosse Pointe Farms and held roles as the Budget Director for the City of Westland and as an Assistant City Treasurer for the City of Novi, Michigan. In addition, they have volunteered in various treasurer and president roles for organizations such as Friends of the Novi Civic Theatre, Northville Area Council of PTAs, and Ridge Wood PTA. Earlier in their career, Debra worked as an Audit Associate/Manager at Plante Moran.

Debra Peck Lichtenberg, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a MiCPT from the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association. In 2014, they obtained another certification called ACPFIM, however, the institution from which it was obtained is unknown.
