Susan B. has extensive experience in municipal government and community outreach, currently serving as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Royal Oak, MI since May 2021. In this role, Susan manages various projects, supports policy initiatives, and acts as the staff liaison for the Human Rights Commission, Commission for the Arts, and Older Adults Advisory Board. Prior to this, Susan worked for the City of Aurora, where positions included Council/Mayor Management Analyst and Interim City Clerk, overseeing operations within the City Clerk's Office. Earlier experience includes roles in community outreach at the University of Colorado Boulder and an internship with the Colorado State Legislature. Susan holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
