Emily Allement has served as the Development Services Coordinator for the City of Ruston since September 2015, where responsibilities include managing technical and administrative tasks related to construction, planning, zoning, and community development. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a GIS Analyst at Caldwell Parish Tax Assessor & 911 Communications from 2012 to 2015, enhancing emergency response mapping systems. Additionally, Emily gained experience at Louisiana Tech University from 2011 to 2012, monitoring the GIS lab and assisting students with technical issues. Emily holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Louisiana Tech University, obtained in 2013.
