Corey Nesbit

Corey Nesbit, PE, CFM, MPA, currently serves as the Director of CIP and Public Works for the City of Sachse, Texas, a position held since September 2019. Prior to this role, Corey held multiple positions within the City of Mesquite from January 2015 to September 2019, including Assistant Director of Public Works - Engineering Services, City Engineer, and Assistant City Engineer. Corey began a career in engineering at the City of McKinney as Development Engineering Manager from February 2006 to January 2015 and worked as a Graduate Engineer for the Town of Flower Mound from June 2004 to February 2006. Corey earned a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington between 2017 and 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, obtained between 1995 and 2001.
