Gary Burcalow

Gary Burcalow has over 37 years of experience in information technology and communications, currently serving as an Information Technology Systems Administrator for the City of Sachse, Texas since November 1998. In this role, Gary assists in budget preparation and manages daily IT operations such as monitoring help tickets, computer upgrades, and network oversight. Prior positions include Information Technology Coordinator, where Gary managed software installations and budget preparation, and Police Communications Supervisor, responsible for supervising communications staff and establishing an Emergency Medical Dispatch program. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Support Engineer at Stream International and as a Computer Technician, along with a long tenure as a Police Communications Officer. Gary’s foundational education was completed at Mesquite High School.
