Michael Tamayo

Michael Tamayo has extensive experience in budget analysis and fiscal policy, currently serving as Principal Budget Analyst for the City of Sacramento since December 2016. In this role, Michael has also acted as Budget Manager, alongside previous positions as Senior Budget Analyst, Budget Analyst, and Fiscal Policy Analyst. Prior to joining Sacramento, Michael worked as an Economic Development Analyst for the City of Vallejo from June 2016 to December 2016. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Brown University and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
