Cecilia Chen

Cecilia Chen is a skilled Community Planner and GIS Analyst currently working for the City of Safety Harbor since June 2022. With a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University, Cecilia has experience in various planning roles, including as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and an intern city planner at the Tsinghua University Planning and Design Institute. Prior experience also includes a Planning and Economic Development Internship at the City of Dunedin, where Cecilia independently edited comprehensive plan maps using ArcGIS and drafted planning comments. Additional internships at the Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning & Urban Design and the Government of Jincheng provided Cecilia with in-depth experience in preservation planning and field research. Cecilia's educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Urban Management from Central University of Finance and Economics and an international guest student program at the University of Pennsylvania.
