Belen Garcia

Belen Garcia is an experienced GIS professional with a career spanning over 18 years, currently serving as GIS Data Lead/Enterprise GIS Solutions Analyst at the City of San Antonio since October 2007, following roles as GIS Data Senior Analyst and GIS Analyst within the Capital Improvements Management Services Department. Prior to this, Belen worked as a GIS Analyst at RIVER CITY ENGINEERING, PLLC, and as a Stormwater Drainage Technician for the City of Killeen, Texas. Early career experience includes an internship as a GIS Intern in the City of San Marcos, Texas. Belen holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science/Geography from Texas State University, where coursework towards a Master’s Degree in Land Use Planning and Management/Development is also noted.
