Luke Simons

Luke Simons serves as the Communications Manager for the City of San Antonio, where responsibilities include strategic communication of city initiatives and policies to enhance public trust in government. Previously, Luke Simons held various roles at KENS 5, including Executive Producer, Special Projects Content Manager, and Discovery Desk Manager, leading efforts in content strategy across on-air and digital platforms. Earlier experience includes serving as News Director and Sports Director at KAGS-HD, where significant growth in social media presence occurred, and as Director of Sic 'em Sports Productions at Baylor University. Luke Simons began a career in broadcasting at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, directing the top sports department in the market and making key editorial decisions. Luke Simons earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (Electronic Media) from Texas State University.
