Patrick Steck

Patrick Steck is an experienced professional with a solid background in human services and community development. Currently serving as the Assistant Human Services Director for the City of San Antonio since May 2016, Patrick has held various roles, including Assistant to the Director and Special Projects Manager. Previous experience includes working as a Community Economic Development Volunteer for the Peace Corps from March 2015 to April 2016, and during earlier tenure with the City of San Antonio from January 2012 to February 2015, roles included Executive Assistant and Budget and Management Analyst. Patrick began a career in public service as a Research Associate for a project on educator effectiveness at The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Patrick holds a Master of Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Texas A&M University.
