Phillip Cullen

Phillip Cullen serves as the Sr. Director of Basketball Operations and Organizational Development at Spurs Sports & Entertainment since August 2022. Previously, Phillip held various roles within the same organization, including Director of Basketball Operations and Innovation from September 2019 to 2022 and Director of Basketball Strategy from 2016 to 2019. In addition, Phillip contributes to the Design in Health Advisory Council at The University of Texas at Austin and the Mayor's Fitness Council in San Antonio, both positions held since 2021. Prior to joining Spurs Sports & Entertainment, Phillip was the Director of Basketball Operations and Director of Player Development at the University of Utah from June 2012 to July 2016 and an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Grand Canyon University from May 2009 to May 2012. Phillip began a professional career as an Engineer in Training at EME from January 2006 to January 2009. Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
