Nariman Nourbakhsh

Nariman Nourbakhsh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, project management, and consultancy. Currently serving as a Plan Examiner for the City of San Clemente since 2022, Nariman also operates as a Freelance Project Consultant since January 2012, providing client assistance in evaluating business opportunities and managing multidisciplinary support. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager/Contract Administrator at Nargan Engineers & Constructor, Inspection Team Leader at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and positions in software research and development as well as engineering and development at Hyprotech Inc. and the National Iranian Oil Company. Nariman holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MS in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Northridge, an MA in Development Economics from SOAS University of London, and an Associate's degree in Building Construction Technology from Saddleback College.
