Arlene Gonzalez

Arlene Gonzalez is an experienced analyst at the City of San José, actively supporting the Placemaking program and Park Reservations since May 2016. Arlene has held various positions within the city, including Interim Event Coordinator and Recreation Program Specialist, where responsibilities included program development and implementation, budget management, and community engagement. Arlene's background also includes roles as a Notary Public, Lead Organizer at the Feminist Majority Foundation, and Fundraising Chair for the Latino Student Advisory Board. Education includes a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
