Chris Arkley

Chris Arkley is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in operations management and community engagement, currently serving as a Senior Executive Analyst - Downtown Coordinator for the City of San José since September 2023. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Operations Manager at the San Jose Downtown Association, where responsibilities included managing PBID programs, budgets, and vendor negotiations. Chris also has experience as a Community Engagement Manager at Tech City Builder and as Assistant General Manager at Urban Markets Entertainment, overseeing operations and financial performance. Chris's career began in 2009 at Fry's Electronics as a Computer Sales Associate, and education culminated in a Bachelor's Degree in History from San Jose State University.
