Mel MacKson

Mel Mackson is an Assistant Planner at the City of San Pablo, employed since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Planning and Development Intern at the City of Chicopee from June 2019 to July 2020, and significant involvement as Co-Chair of the Resident Assistant & Peer Mentor Union at UAW Local 2322 from September 2017 to May 2019, where responsibilities included representing membership interests and managing meetings for over 400 members. Mel also held positions as a Resident Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and as a Cashier and Support Staff at Bigelow Nurseries Inc. A Master's degree in Regional Planning was obtained from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020, following a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
