Eric Holm

Eric Holm, J.D., has extensive experience in public service and community engagement, currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for the General Plan 2040 with the City of San Rafael since 2009, focusing on sustainable community development. Holm has held leadership roles, including Chairman of the Park, Recreation & Cultural Affairs Commission, where responsibilities included managing budgets and enhancing public engagement, and as President of the State Board of Guide Dogs for the Blind, overseeing industry standards and outreach efforts. Previous experience includes adjudicating complex cases with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice, alongside advocating for labor rights as Vice President of the American Federation of Government Employees. Education includes a Doctor of Jurisprudence from San Francisco Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's College of California.
