Valerie Amezcua

Valerie Amezcua currently serves as a Board Member for the Southern California Association of Governments and the Orange County Water District, and has held the position of Mayor for the City of Santa Ana since December 2022. Previously, Valerie Amezcua was an SAUSD Board Member and served on the Board of Education for the Santa Ana Unified School District from November 2014 until January 2023. Valerie Amezcua has a background in probation, having worked as a Supervising Probation Officer for OC Probation from 1986 until retirement in September 2017. Academic credentials include studies at LaVerne University and California State University, Long Beach.
