Alexis Flores is a Project Engineer with experience at the City of Santa Barbara since December 2018, focusing on the design and management of capital streets engineering projects and coordination with CalTrans and SBCAG for grant-funded initiatives. Prior to this role, Alexis completed an internship with the Emeryville Public Works Department, where responsibilities included updating engineering plans, responding to public record requests, and applying for grant funding. In addition, Alexis worked as an Environmental Intern at Granite Construction from May 2016 to August 2017. Alexis holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2018.
