Edgar Ramirez

Edgar Ramirez is an experienced Engineering Technician currently working with the City of Santa Barbara since August 2016, where responsibilities include supporting engineering staff on city projects, designing 3D ADA ramps, updating City Standard Details in AutoCAD, and maintaining the city's street database. Previously, Ramirez served as a Tech Assistant at KISS Capital Corporation from September 2014 to October 2016, providing technical support and performing office tasks. An internship as an Engineering Technician at the City of Santa Barbara's Public Works Department involved assisting in creating CAD drawings and managing project information. Additionally, Ramirez has experience as a Tutor/Mentor with CAC's Cal-SOAP program and as a Coach for A World Fit For Kids!. Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences with a focus on Applied Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.
