Lyndsay Maas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Lyndsay started their career as a Co-Owner at Surf Country, where they managed bookkeeping procedures and worked closely with a CPA. After that, they worked as a Member Service Representative/Marketing Coordinator at South Coast Community Federal Credit Union, handling member transactions and assisting with balancing ATM machines. Lyndsay then became a General Accountant at Sputtered Films Product Group, where they prepared financial reports, managed invoices, and transactions. Following that, they joined Santa Barbara Alpha Strategies as an Operations Analyst, tracking investment portfolio performance and preparing financial reports. Lyndsay then served as the US Corporate Controller & Treasurer at Imerys, managing financial operations for World Minerals Inc. Lastly, they worked at Santa Barbara City College, first as a Controller and then promoted to Vice President of Business Services. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Finance Director at the City of Santa Barbara, starting in 2023.

Lyndsay Maas earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from California State University Channel Islands, completing it between 2004 and 2006.
