David McCormic is a seasoned professional in urban planning and economic development with extensive experience in managing municipal real estate and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the Asset + Development Manager for the City of Santa Cruz Economic Development Office, David oversees a portfolio of over 500 properties and numerous partnership agreements while facilitating redevelopment and renovations. Prior roles include Associate Landscape Designer for the City of San José, where David contributed to master planning and permitting projects encompassing over 10,000 housing units, and various research and consulting positions that emphasize community development and environmental design. David holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, along with multiple degrees and certifications related to planning and Geographic Information Systems from reputable institutions.
