Emily Oster

Emily Oster has a diverse work experience, starting as a Bookkeeper at Eun K. Hong, CPA from 2005 to 2008. Emily then worked as an Accountant at Kardas, Abeyta, & Weiner, PC from 2009 to 2011. Emily then joined the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration as an Accountant from 2011 to 2016. Emily then moved on to the Office of the New Mexico State Auditor, where they served as the Director of Compliance and Quality Control from 2016 to 2018. Following that, Emily worked as the Chief Financial Officer at the New Mexico Law Offices of the Public Defender from 2018 to 2019. Emily then became the Deputy Cabinet Secretary at the New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Emily is the Finance Director at the City of Santa Fe, starting in September 2022.

Emily Oster obtained a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Emily later pursued a Master of Accounting at The University of New Mexico from 2008 to 2009. In April 2010, Emily obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the New Mexico Public Accountancy Board.
