Joseph "Kyle" Kozar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joseph "Kyle" began their career at The Holland Project Youth Arts and Music, where they worked part-time as a Workshop Development and Instructor. In 2006, they co-founded the Reno Bike Project and served as the Co-Executive Director until 2010, overseeing its operations. Moving forward, Joseph joined Pratt Institute in 2012 as the Co-Editor/Designer of their multipliCITY Newsletter. Concurrently, they worked at Regional Plan Association from 2011 to 2015, first as an Open Space Research Intern and later as an Associate Planner and Senior Planner for Energy and Environment. Currently, Joseph is employed at the City of Santa Monica. Joseph "Kyle" started as the Bike Share Coordinator from 2015 to 2018, then progressed to become a Senior Transportation Planner until 2022. Presently, they hold the position of Principal Transportation Planner at the City of Santa Monica.
Joseph "Kyle" Kozar holds a Master of Science degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute. Joseph "Kyle" also obtained a Dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno.
