Matthew Gloeckner

Matthew Gloeckner is an experienced fire service professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Battalion Chief for the City of Santa Rosa since December 2000, Matthew has held various positions including Fire Captain, Fire Engineer, and Firefighter. Prior experience includes working as a Firefighter for the City of Benicia Fire Department from March 1999 to November 2000 and as a Seasonal Firefighter with Cal Fire from May 1995 to November 1998, participating in engine company operations and helitack. Matthew holds a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from Sonoma State University (2004-2007) and an A.S. in Business Management & Fire Technology from Santa Rosa Junior College (1994-1999).
