Rachel Ede

Rachel Ede has worked in various roles within the transportation and public works sector. From 1998 to 2000, they were a Policy Associate at the City of Providence, Office of the Mayor. From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Principal Planner at the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority. From 2005 to 2011, Rachel worked at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates, first as an Associate Project Manager and later as a Senior Associate. In 2011, they joined the City of Santa Rosa as a Transit Planner and eventually became the Deputy Director of Transportation and Public Works (Transit Division).

Rachel Ede earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from Brown University, where they studied between 1992 and 1997. Rachel later pursued a Master's degree in Regional Planning from Cornell University, from 2003 to 2005.
