Cristy Llewellyn Lawrence, PE, LEED AP, MBA, F.ASCE has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cristy Llewellyn started their career in 1995 at Thomas & Hutton Engineering Co., where they served as a Professional Engineer, Project Manager, and LEED AP until 2012. During this time, they gained expertise in engineering and project management. In 2010, Cristy became an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix, where they remained until 2017. Their role involved teaching and sharing their knowledge with students. In 2012, they joined the City of Savannah as a Liaison in Development Services, where they worked until 2017. Cristy Llewellyn then transitioned to Wolverton as a Land Development Project Manager from 2017 to 2018, gaining experience in land development. In 2018, Cristy rejoined the City of Savannah and took on the position of Senior Director in Capital Projects Management. Later in 2021, they also served as the Interim Chief Infrastructure and Development Officer, showcasing their leadership skills. With their combination of engineering, project management, teaching, and leadership experience, Cristy has established herself as a well-rounded professional.

Cristy Llewellyn Lawrence, PE, LEED AP, MBA, F.ASCE, received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Cristy Llewellyn then pursued their Master's Degree in Business Administration at the Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, graduating in 2001.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lawrence has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Cristy Llewellyn became a Profession Engineering (PE) License holder after being certified by the Georgia Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in July 2002, and by the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors in June 2000. Lawrence also holds a Certificate of Local Government Management, which they received from The University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government in September 2016.

Furthermore, Lawrence has been recognized as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) in Building Design + Construction by the U.S. Green Building Council in June 2009. Cristy Llewellyn is also a Level II Erosion, Sedimentation, and Pollution Control Program Certified Design Professional, awarded by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission in November 2005.
