Devan Christensen

Devan Christensen currently serves as the Communications Manager for the City of Schertz, overseeing internal and external communications and marketing initiatives since March 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Marketing and Communications Specialist for the City of Schertz, where responsibilities encompassed managing city website content, coordinating advertising for Schertz Magazine, and developing marketing campaigns. Devan's background also includes serving as Marketing and Communications Coordinator for TyRex Group, Ltd., and RecognizeGood, where integrated marketing plans and event management were key focuses. Earlier positions featured internships at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and Hahn Public Communications, along with leadership roles in Phi Beta Chi-Pi Chapter at Texas State University. Devan holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations/Image Management from Texas State University.
