Kirk Hinkley

Kirk Hinkley, MD, FACEP, FAAEM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Kirk is currently serving as the Chief Clinical Officer at Barnes-Kasson County Hospital since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Education at Vapotherm starting from May 2020. Kirk also served as the Director of ED Education at Vapotherm from December 2019 to May 2020. From 2013, Dr. Hinkley worked as the Medical Director at Community Health Systems and as the Medical Director at City of Scranton from April 2021. Kirk also held the position of President, Alumni Board at Penn State College of Medicine from September 2016 to September 2020. In addition, Dr. Hinkley served as an Executive Board Member at Penn State Alumni Association from September 2017 to July 2019. Before that, they worked as a Medical Director at Moses Taylor Hospital from April 2013 to February 2018. Kirk also worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at United Health Services (UHS) from September 2011 to May 2013. Dr. Hinkley's career began in the United States Air Force where they served as a Flight Surgeon and SGP, as well as an Emergency Physician from 2004 to 2011.

Kirk Hinkley, MD, FACEP, FAAEM attended Penn State College of Medicine from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, they studied Biology, General at Rider University, earning their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
