Rolf Nelson has extensive work experience in the field of law enforcement. In 1984, they served as a Sergeant in the Military Police Corps in the US Army until 1987. From 1987 to 1990, they worked as a Police Officer in the University of Houston - Central Police Department. In 1990, they joined the Harris County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff and later held various positions including Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Major. During their tenure, they gained experience in patrol supervision, crime scene management, traffic accident investigation, homicide investigations, and training roles. Additionally, Rolf worked as an International Police Trainer at DynCorp International from 2005 to 2006.
