Alexandra McGehee

Alexandra McGehee is an experienced finance and operations leader currently serving as the Division Director of Finance Operations and Facilities for the City of Seattle, overseeing a $23M budget and three facilities since May 2017. McGehee has held multiple roles within the Office of Arts and Culture, including Finance Manager and Interim Deputy Director, where responsibilities included managing various teams and liaising with city departments. Previous experience includes managing budget proposals as a Fiscal and Policy Analyst in the City Budget Office and roles within the Seattle Police Department focusing on community engagement. Alexandra's background also features international exposure as a DAAD EMGIP Bundestag Fellow and diverse positions in research and analysis across various organizations. McGehee holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Germanic Studies from the University of Maryland.
