Maribel Centeno

Maribel Centeno, MBA, PHR has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Maribel currently works as the Human Resources Director for the City of Seattle, where they are responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of human resources and the delivery of programs, policies, and services that meet organizational objectives. Prior to this role, Maribel held the position of Senior Human Resource Business Partner for the City of Seattle, where they managed cross-functional collaboration with various HR divisions. Maribel also served as the interim HR for four years during their time in this role. Before joining the City of Seattle, Maribel worked as an HR Manager for Asian Counseling and Referral Service. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as the Human Resource Delivery Manager for DFS Group Limited, where they were responsible for designing and implementing HR processes and procedures for a joint venture with various organizations. Maribel also served as an Advisory Council Member and DFS representative for the local government's Guam Workforce Council. Maribel is well-versed in various aspects of HR, including talent management, training and development, benefits, and compensation.

Maribel Centeno holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resource Management from Capella University.
