Rick Vargas

Rick Vargas is an experienced professional currently serving as an Inside Wireman with IBEW Local 11 since September 2015 and as a Building Inspector I with the City of Shafter since August 2021. Vargas has a diverse background, having worked as a Delivery Driver at Finishing Touch Millwork, Inc. from April to September 2015 and served in the United States Marine Corps from July 2008 to July 2013 as an Infantry Rifleman, where responsibilities included supervising a four-person team. Educational credentials include a Certificate of Achievement from the Basic Police Academy at Palomar Police Academy in 2014, and studies at MiraCosta College and the Electrical Training Institute.
