Public Safety Team

The Public Safety Team at the City of Shaker Heights is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the community. This team, consisting of fire and police personnel including Fire Lieutenant, Firefighter/paramedic, Police Detective, Police Commander, Fire Inspector, Lieutenant, Fire Chief, Battalion Chief, and Chief of Police, collaborates to provide emergency response services, conduct fire inspections, investigate crimes, and enforce local laws. Their combined efforts ensure a protected and secure environment for all residents.
