Travis Peterson currently serves as the Director of the Department of Public Works for the City of Sheboygan since July 2024. Prior to this role, Travis was with Kapur & Associates, Inc. from December 2002 to July 2024, where responsibilities included the position of Associate and Economic Development Manager. Earlier in the career, Travis worked as an Environmental Scientist at Envirogen, Inc. from 1999 to 2002 and at AGENDA INTERNATIONAL LIMITED from 1997 to 1999. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Natural Resources, and Environmental Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earned between 1990 and 1994.
